Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Córdoba, Argentina to drive delivery across cybersecurity product programs. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations to align teams and ship critical products on time for millions of users.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage dependencies, and mentor junior program managers while translating complex status into clear updates for senior leadership. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• 7 years of program management experience in a software or product engineering organization.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and ability to engage with engineering teams on technical delivery.
• Experience working with multiple Agile teams at scale and cross-team coordination practices such as Scrum of Scrums.
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills across engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to all levels.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence; proficient with dashboards and program metrics.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own product delivery across the full software development lifecycle - requirements, design, development, testing, and release - across cloud and appliance-based product lines.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations, and Customer Support on programs spanning multiple teams.
• Coordinate across multiple Agile teams using scaled Agile practices and drive program-level delivery rhythm.
• Turn program complexity into clear, strategic updates for senior leadership.
• Lead strategic planning and end-to-end delivery for multiple programs, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day execution.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, surface blockers early, and drive timely decisions to keep programs on track.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and executive sponsors, providing clear visibility into program status and risks.
• Evaluate scope changes and shifting priorities, communicating impact clearly and aligning teams on the path forward.
• Build and maintain proactive risk management practices across all programs.
• Mentor intermediate program managers and contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative team.
