Thermo Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer III for onsite roles in Montgomery, AL. You will lead start-up, FATs, and develop PLC/HMI solutions across industrial automation projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years of experience, and ability to travel up to 50%. You’ll collaborate with project teams to deliver safe, reliable control systems and support field-based installation and commissioning.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or system integration environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering tasks or small project scopes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Lead and perform FATs for automation systems.
• Interpret P&IDs and electrical schematics and control system documentation.
• Develop and implement HMI and PLC-based automation solutions.
• Contribute to design and implementation of complex control systems.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for automation and control system designs.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and quality.
• Deliver assigned engineering tasks on schedule within project scope.
• Identify potential technical challenges and develop solutions.
