Dematic is seeking a Controls Technician to travel to customer sites, perform electrical and controls audits, and collaborate with engineers on project scopes. You will review legacy architectures, assess network configurations, and help plan demolition and initial installation activities.

Brownfield experience with AB PLC systems is favored. The role involves commissioning support, field collaboration, and regular updates to leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 3–5 years of related experience in controls/electrical field.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (~80%).
• Experience with brownfield projects at customer sites and Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Familiarity with industrial fieldbus networks and related safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive electrical and controls system audits at customer sites.
• Document legacy and distributed controls architectures and network configurations.
• Evaluate power distributions and network performance; identify gaps and risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and interface with engineering teams and customers.
• Support commissioning activities and on-site testing during brownfield projects.
