Bechtel Argentina is seeking an Environmental Permitting Specialist to manage obtaining, maintaining and monitoring environmental permits for projects in Argentina, ensuring compliance with national and provincial regulations and client standards.

The role bridges engineering and regulatory authorities, translating legal requirements into verifiable design criteria, anticipates environmental constraints, and keeps a permit route aligned with the project schedule This is a full-time onsite role

Formación

Electrical engineer degree and ten years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsabilidades

Manage obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental permits coordinating with engineering and regulatory teams.
Bridge engineering and regulatory authorities to translate requirements into verifiable criteria.
Anticipate environmental restrictions that affect layout and construction sequencing.
Maintain a critical permit route aligned with the project schedule.
Participate in the project quality program and report status to project management.
Other duties as assigned.
