Job summary

Bechtel in Argentina seeks a regulatory permits manager to obtain, maintain, and monitor environmental and sectoral permits for the project. You will ensure that design, planning and field activity comply with national and provincial regulations and client environmental standards, acting as a bridge to the regulatory authority.

You will translate legal requirements into verifiable design criteria, anticipate environmental restrictions, and maintain a permit route aligned with the project

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Proven High Voltage experience in mining projects.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, maintain and monitor environmental and sectoral permits for the Argentina project.
