Job summary

Bechtel Argentina seeks a Permitting Specialist to manage the environmental and sectoral permits needed to execute the project, ensuring compliance with national and provincial regulations and client environmental standards.

The role acts as a bridge between engineering and regulatory authorities, translating legal requirements into verifiable design criteria and aligning permit progression with project timelines.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer degree and ten (10) years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
• Preferably with High Voltage experience in mining projects.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the obtaining, maintenance and monitoring of environmental and sectoral permits that enable the execution of the project in Argentina, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and commitments.
• Translate legal requirements into verifiable design criteria and maintain a permit route aligned with the project schedule.
