Amentum is seeking a Communications & Lab Services Manager to support the AUTEC mission on Andros Island, Bahamas. The role oversees the Message Center, Tech Lab, and Communications, ensuring operation and maintenance of complex systems and compliance with Navy instructions. Must obtain and maintain a Secret U.S.

Government Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. Responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision of Bahamas and US engineers/technicians, system installs and upgrades, and travel

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of direct experience with related technology.
• Five+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with Satellite, Microwave, Radio, and PBX disciplines preferred.
• Must meet eligibility for US Government security clearance (Secret).
• Strong communication and safety mindset.
• Must reside in or be able to relocate to remote location with limited medical facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Over-sees the operation and maintenance of complex systems; ensures installation meets standards.
• Initiates and oversees complex service restoration processes; monitors and resolves significant matters.
• Plan and implement installs and upgrades of systems.
• Over-sees operation of Naval Message Center and ensures compliance with Navy instructions.
• Supports operation and maintenance of AUTEC PBX Phone System.
• Manage Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and timing systems.
• Manage various other DoD-specific radio systems.
• Over-sees Base Cable TV system.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining budget and other financial details.
• Manages a team of Bahamas and US based engineers/technicians.
• Travel from the Bahamas to other locations roughly every two months.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
