The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas, seeks a Kitchen Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment throughout the property.

Work under Engineering Management to ensure safety procedures are followed, train staff, and perform preventive maintenance. This is based at The Ocean Club in The Bahamas, with duties including ensuring equipment reliability and adherence to standards.

• Trains staff and supports engineering services.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps all equipment in good repair with minimal downtime by performing day-to-day maintenance under Engineering Management.
• Continually supports and improves engineering services that address problems affecting guests and associates.
• Trains and instructs other staff to aid their development and advancement.
• Be familiar with gas systems and related safety procedures.
• Maintains communications with Supervisors to ensure materials, tools, and supplies are available or on order.
• Responsible for proper and timely completion of preventative maintenance systems.
• Updates Manager regularly on assignments.
• Performs all reasonable duties requested by management.

The Role of the Kitchen Technician

Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment throughout the property.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Keeps all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day to day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management. Ensures a complete understanding of and adheres to the company’s fire and safety procedures.

• Continually supports and improves engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both guests and associates.

• Trains and instructs other members of the staff by passing along knowledge and skills to assist them in their development and the advancement of your own.

• Strives to become an independent mechanic, analyzes problems and formulates plans to get work done with a high degree of quality. Ensures that Engineering and the work area are kept clean at all times.

• Be familiar of gas systems, and related safety procedures.

• Maintains communications with Supervisors to ensure that all materials, tools, and supplies are available or on order. Follows up on any items that may be back ordered.

• Responsible for the proper and timely completion of preventative maintenance systems.

• Updates Manager regularly on assignments.

• Performs all reasonable duties requested by management.
