Sezzle seeks a hand-on Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen security across cloud infrastructure, applications, and developer workflows. You will be responsible for identifying risks, driving security improvements, and partnering with engineering teams to implement scalable protections.

You will focus on vulnerability management, detection engineering, supply chain security, and incident response, using modern tooling and AI where appropriate to boost efficiency and resilience

Formación

• 6+ years of security, software, or infrastructure engineering.
• Threat modeling and security design reviews experience.
• Hands-on vulnerability management with scanning and remediation.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Wazuh, Splunk, ELK).
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with PCI DSS and SOC 2 compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead vulnerability management across infrastructure, platforms, and applications.
• Build and mature SIEM/XDR capabilities with detection rules and workflows.
• Investigate security incidents; perform root cause analysis and long‑term fixes.
• Design detection strategies for suspicious activity and exfiltration patterns.
• Lead threat modeling and security design reviews to reduce risks.
• Apply deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise to secure cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Drive CI/CD hardening and supply chain risk controls.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with engineering teams and improve secure development.
• Support PCI DSS, SOC 2 compliance controls and audits.
• Develop automation, including AI, to improve security operations.
• Triage external findings and coordinate remediation.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance productivity and research.
