Sezzle is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join a fast-growing team. You will own reliability initiatives, architect scalable infrastructure, and influence the roadmap across Kubernetes, AWS, and databases.

With 12+ years of experience, you will mentor engineers, drive AI-enabled automation, and shape best practices for observability, security, and CI/CD in a distributed microservices environment.

Formación

• Over 12+ years in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Recent production changes in the past 30 days.
• Strong Golang and RESTful API design.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and query optimization.
• Proficient with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
• Knowledge of distributed systems patterns and event-driven architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, upgrade, design, and build scalable infrastructure.
• Drive the infrastructure roadmap for reliability and scalability.
• Lead capacity planning, stress testing, and bottleneck analysis.
• Define and enforce SLAs and alerts.
• Improve anomaly detection and alerting.
• Lead AI enablement efforts for infra automation.
• Maintain distributed microservices architecture and performance.
• Establish engineering best practices for observability, security, and CI/CD.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of learning.
• Collaborate with teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
