Job summary

Bechtel Argentina seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer to manage permits and ensure regulatory compliance for mining, energy and infrastructure projects. You will translate environmental requirements into design criteria and coordinate with engineering teams on the permit route to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires strong experience in environmental management, EPC/EPCM environments, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required with 10+ years of relevant experience in substation and line construction.
• HV experience on mining projects is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined work habits are expected.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Proficient with standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage permits and regulatory requirements to enable project execution.
• Provide construction engineering support across multiple disciplines on large projects.
• Coordinate with design engineers and project management to ensure timely information flow.
• Support environmental compliance and contribute to audit readiness.
• Other duties as assigned.
