Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Global Banking Deal Services - Billing Relationship Partner to own the billing coverage for complex deals and lead cross-functional execution.

You will set billing approaches, manage timelines, and escalate issues to ensure accurate invoicing and compliant payment processes. In this senior role, you will oversee regional pipelines, drive post-close invoicing, and continuously improve the billing operating model while partnering with Legal, Tax, Operations, and Product

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a matrixed environment; ability to deliver through influence.
• Strong understanding of the investment banking transaction lifecycle (M&A/ECM/DCM).
• Controls/governance mindset with experience running an execution-focused function.
• Track record managing KPIs/SLAs and improving quality, timeliness, and throughput.
• Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills; comfortable with senior escalations.
• Proficiency with financial systems/tools and using data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own banker coverage for billing and act as senior point of contact for deal teams.
• Oversee the regional pipeline and billing milestones to ensure timely post-close invoicing.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to remove blockers and close issues quickly.
• Identify recurring pain points and implement workflow improvements for transparency and cadence.
• Oversee collection and validation of billing documentation and payment instructions for compliance.
• Review invoices to ensure correct tax treatment and required deal team sign-off.
