DualEntry is building the OS for finance. We hire outliers and work on a real-time accounting platform with Python and modern frameworks, backed by equity in an AI leader.

As a backend engineer, you will design systems, ship end-to-end features, and integrate external tools while scaling with AWS, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD. This remote-first role offers visa sponsorship for NYC relocation after two years and strong growth opportunities.

Formación

• 5+ years in backend engineering with language-agnostic approach.
• Deep experience with complex business logic products.
• Strong database skills: PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs, migrations, schema design.
• Experience deploying on AWS with CI/CD and production-readiness.
• Bonus: Python and a modern web framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).

Responsabilidades

• Design backend systems and APIs (Python preferred) that run real-time, business-critical accounting logic.
• Ship features end to end - architecture, CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and beyond.
• Integrate third-party tools and external systems, proactively managing edge cases and risk.
