Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, REST APIs, and Salesforce integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI‑assisted sales automation initiatives.

You will develop REST APIs and webhook‑based lead routing systems, integrate with Salesforce APIs including EVO and Omnichannel, and contribute to AI SDR automation workflows using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience or equivalent
• Experience with REST APIs and webhook development
• CRM automation and lead routing systems experience
• Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices)
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead routing)
• Support AI SDR automation including Ghost User setup and Calendly integration
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase
• Work in an Agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project)
