Bluelight is seeking a senior software architect to join our growing team. You will design low-latency, secure multi-tenant architectures on AWS, with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, RLS, and scalable RESTful APIs, while mentoring engineers and upholding technical standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years professional software development experience, with 3+ years in an architecture-focused role.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS, including judgment about when distributed components earn their place.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems: append-only event logs, versioned or bitemporal models, and deterministic historical replay.
• Experience designing fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outage postures.
• Proven experience architecting secure multi-tenant environments with tradeoff analysis.
