Bluelight is seeking an experienced software architect to lead the design of scalable, low-latency systems across AWS, focusing on secure multi-tenant architectures and robust RESTful APIs. You will mentor engineers, create ADRs, and collaborate with clients on architecture decisions.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, high accountability, and strong leadership, with remote work options and opportunities to work with modern technologies across the Americas.

Formación

• 8+ years professional software development experience, including architecture-focused roles.
• Deep experience designing low-latency service architectures in AWS with judicious use of distributed components.
• Experience designing to latency budgets (p95/p99) and durable commits.
• Experience designing audit/evidence systems (append-only logs, versioned models).
• Experience in fail-open/fail-closed/degraded-state semantics and outage postures.
• Proven multi-tenant security architecture experience (RLS vs schema-per-tenant).
• Deep PostgreSQL/AuroraDB with RLS knowledge.
• Strong RESTful API design skills.
• SDK integration design experience.
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and mentor teams.
• Ability to produce ADRs and architecture diagrams for decisions.
• Experience presenting architecture decisions in client reviews.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants in daily development.
• Background in end-to-end large, complex systems.
• Able to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsabilidades
