Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and scale secure AWS infrastructure with ECS/Fargate, ALB/NLB, auto-scaling, and IaC best practices. You will own end-to-end projects, build reusable Terraform modules, and drive CICD improvements across multi-account environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong Python/Bash scripting, and experience with data infra such as Kafka, EMR, and Airflow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Manage containerized workloads using ECS/Fargate, ALB/NLB, and autoscaling.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Jenkins/Groovy CI/CD pipelines.
• Operate and optimize streaming platforms, data infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and proactive incident resolution.
• Continuously optimize AWS costs through resource right-sizing and cost-conscious architecture decisions.
• Automate operational processes using Python, Bash, and AWS Lambda.
• Strengthen infrastructure security and CI/CD security controls.
• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end, from design and deployment to documentation and ongoing support.
• Create clear technical documentation and runbooks for first-level support teams.
• Manage infrastructure changes through reviewed Pull Requests on a single main branch.
• Use performance metrics and cost analysis to guide technical decisions for leadership.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining code quality.
