Bluelight is a leading software consultancy actively expanding across the Americas and has an opportunity for a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional based remotely from Argentina. You will contribute to designing and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure and delivery pipelines for challenging client projects.

Applicants should bring 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps, strong AWS hands-on experience, IaC expertise, and a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-first mindset: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and hardening practices.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis
• Ability to overlap US business hours
• Bachelor's degree required
• Extreme ownership and accountability for deliverables

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable DevOps pipelines across cloud environments.
• Manage AWS infrastructure with IaC, ensuring reliability and security.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy secure, compliant releases.
• Oversee incident response and on-call rotations; perform root-cause analysis.
