Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps engineer to join our rapidly growing remote team. You will influence architectures, automate deployments, and ensure scalable, secure systems across cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, IaC, containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response. You will collaborate with US and LATAM clients, aligning delivery with business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps experience.
• Hands-on with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
• Deployment automation with rollback drills and tested rollback plans.
• Monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Security-focused: vulnerability management and compliance practices.
• SOC 2 audit evidence support and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems and overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Operate and optimize cloud-based deployments across AWS.
• Ensure security and compliance in production environments.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
