We are seeking an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support the financial operations of a US construction company. This remote role prefers candidates located in Latin America and requires strong AR/AP expertise and QuickBooks Online proficiency.

Responsibilities include invoicing, collections, AP processing, and month-end close support in a fast-paced environment. Prior construction-industry experience is highly valued.

Formación

• Senior experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist to support the financial operations of a growing U.S. construction company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing AR and AP processes within the U.S. construction industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

• Generate and issue customer invoices.


• Monitor outstanding receivables.


• Follow up on overdue accounts.


• Reconcile customer payments.


• Prepare AR reports.

Accounts Payable

• Process vendor invoices accurately and on time.


• Reconcile supplier statements.


• Prepare payment runs.


• Maintain vendor records.


• Resolve billing discrepancies.

Financial Administration

• Assist with month-end closing activities.


• Maintain accurate financial records.


• Support reporting and audits.


• Ensure compliance with company financial policies.

Required Qualifications

• Senior experience in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.


• Familiarity with the AIA billing process.


• Previous experience within the U.S. construction industry (required).


• QuickBooks Online knowledge.


• Strong understanding of accounting principles.


• Excellent attention to detail.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Must come out of a construction background.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with US construction accounting processes.


• Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies.


• Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
