Avenga seeks an Application Support & Maintenance specialist in Argentina (100% Remote) to strengthen our global delivery team supporting manufacturing, packaging, and supply chain operations.

You will provide advanced L2/L3 application support, manage deployment packages, resolve complex incidents, and maintain validated systems under strict GxP standards, collaborating with global stakeholders and IT teams.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in pharma/Life Sciences manufacturing environments.
• Advanced to fluent English communication for global collaboration.
• Experience with MES, Serialization/Track & Trace, Label Management, Barcode Tracking or SCM control.
• Solid knowledge of GxP regulations, GDP, and CSV lifecycle principles.
• Strong background with Windows Server 2016+ and SQL Server 2016+ with query analysis.
• Experience administering middleware and application servers and handling interfaces (XML, SOAP UI, REST).
• ITIL/ServiceNow experience in incident/problem/change management.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years IT experience.
• Advanced English for collaboration with international stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver reliable IT services across deployment, operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Deploy application packages from vendors through Change Management processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve P1-P4 incidents and perform RCA.
• Execute database queries, data fixes, and configuration changes to support shop-floor operations.
• Maintain systems in a validated GxP state with CSV documentation.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve interface dependencies.
• Ensure accurate ticket tracking and documentation in ServiceNow.

In Argentina (100% Remote) within the Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical industry, we are actively seeking a Application Support & Maintenance to strengthen our global delivery team. In this role, you will ensure the operational stability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of mission-critical applications supporting core manufacturing, packaging, and supply chain operations.

Your primary responsibility will involve providing advanced L2/L3 application support, managing deployment packages, resolving complex technical incidents, and maintaining systems in a validated state under strict GxP standards. This is you

• English Proficiency (Mandatory / Excluyente): Advanced to Fluent verbal and written English communication skills (C1/C2 or equivalent), required for daily autonomous interaction with global stakeholders and technical teams worldwide.

• Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Domain: Minimum of 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing, packaging, engineering, or supply chain environments within the Pharma or Life Sciences industry.

• Traceability & Shop-Floor Systems: Hands-on experience with systems related to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), Serialization/Track & Trace, Label Management (layouts, printers, design), Barcode Tracking, or Supply Chain Control.

• Regulatory & Quality Standards: Solid working knowledge of GxP regulations, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and Computer Systems Validation (CSV) lifecycle principles.

• Technical & Infrastructure Stack:

  • Strong background with MS Windows Server (2016+) and MS SQL Server (2016+) including query analysis, data maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience administering middleware and application servers (e.g., Red Hat JBoss EAP, Apache Tomcat, or IIS) and handling interface protocols (XML, SOAP UI, REST).

• ITSM & Support Operations: Proven experience in L2/L3 application lifecycle management, incident/problem resolution, and change management workflows (ITIL / ServiceNow).

• Professional Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) with 5+ years of overall IT experience.

• Language Proficiency: Advanced verbal and written English communication skills for direct collaboration with international stakeholders.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Direct experience with Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk ProductionCentre / MES PharmSuite.

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized environments, or Cloud solutions.

• Automation and scripting capabilities (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

• ITIL Foundation (v3/v4) certification.

This is your role

• Deliver reliable IT services across all solution lifecycle phases (Deployment, Operations, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement).

• Deploy application packages from vendors through formal Change Management processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional P1-P4 incidents within established SLAs, leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Execute database queries, datafixes, and configuration adjustments to ensure uninterrupted shop-floor operations.

• Maintain systems in a fully validated GxP state, adhering strictly to CSV policies and documentation standards.

• Coordinate with infrastructure teams, software vendors, and cross-functional plant stakeholders to resolve complex interface and platform dependencies.

• Ensure accurate ticket tracking and documentation management in ServiceNow (SNOW).
