Avenga is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a global team responsible for deploying and managing mission-critical applications across multiple environments.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, provide deployment support, and drive continuous improvements in DevOps practices while ensuring stability, scalability, and security in production systems.

Formación

• Experience deploying and managing applications in critical environments.
• Experience in technical support, incident analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and AIX.
• Experience with IIS and basic Active Directory administration.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL queries.
• Scripting experience: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Responsabilidades

• Execute deployment, configuration, and validation of applications and infrastructure across Dev, QA, and Production.
• Participate in Release Management: planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing implementations.
• Validate operational status of environments before and after deployments with technical controls and tests.
• Provide support during deployment windows and assist on post-deployment stabilization.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to applications, infrastructure, and deployment processes.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of deployment processes.
• Maintain updated technical documentation and change traceability.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in deploying and managing mission-critical applications. This position requires strong expertise in infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD practices, ensuring stability, scalability, and security across environments.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical support during deployments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in DevOps processes.

Exclusionary Requirements:

• Experience in deploying and managing application deployments in critical environments
• Experience in technical support, incident analysis, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and AIX
• Experience with IIS and basic Active Directory administration
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL queries
• General knowledge of infrastructure, networks, and communications
• Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Management of DevOps and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar)
• Knowledge of Git and version control

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with Docker & Docker Compose
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
• Experience with Apache, Nginx, or Tomcat
• Networking expertise: DNS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, digital certificates
• Cloud platforms: Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with GitHub Actions
• Automation of operational tasks
• Exposure to AI applied to technology processes
• Experience in banking, fintech, or mission-critical systems

This is your role

• Execute deployment, configuration, and validation of applications and infrastructure in Development, QA, and Production environments

• Implement remediation derived from vulnerabilities identified by security audits or tests
• Maintain updated technical documentation and change traceability
