Werben HR is hiring an API Design and Development specialist to design, implement, and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs. You will collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure robust, scalable data exchange across systems.

The role requires 5+ years in API development, strong skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#, and experience with Spring Boot. You will mentor teams on API security best practices and contribute to documentation and testing efforts.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of API development and integration experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design and Microservices.
• Experience with API development frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of API security best practices: OAuth, JWT, API keys.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs based on business requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
• Optimize API performance with caching, rate limiting, and other techniques.
• Implement security best practices to protect APIs from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; debug API issues.
• Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation and provide developer support.
• Stay updated with industry trends to continuously improve API design, performance, and security.
