Zusammenfassung

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Server-side Engineer to build and evolve a mobile service layer (Backend for Frontend) powering high-traffic client experiences. You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, designers, and QA to deliver reliable APIs, optimize performance, and keep code quality high.

You will design backend-for-frontend APIs, build Spring Boot services in Java, implement REST endpoints, and optimize performance.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of Java server-side experience.
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor peers.
• Proven project delivery experience in large cross-functional teams.
• Solid Spring Boot knowledge for building scalable services.
• Strong REST API design skills for contract-first, maintainable endpoints.
• Strong algorithms and data structures skills for solving complex problems.
• Strong unit testing skills to ensure correctness and prevent regressions.
• Hands-on CI experience with build and test automation.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency concepts.
• Performance optimization skills including profiling and tuning.
• Strong refactoring skills and ability to work with legacy code safely.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-starting mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
