Avenga is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its Tech Solutions team, shaping reusable AI components and defining architectures for AI-enabled development. You will bridge hands-on software engineering with architectural ownership, researching AI technologies and turning concepts into production-ready ecosystems.

You will collaborate across engineering to promote secure, observable, scalable AI-powered solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.

Formación

• Senior-level backend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on with AWS, serverless architectures, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and developing APIs, libraries, frameworks, plugins, or other reusable components.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, testing, security, observability, and CI/CD.
• Experience contributing to software architecture, technical design, and engineering decision-making.
• Hands-on with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI implementations.
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into reusable solutions.
• Ability to research emerging technologies and transform PoCs into production-ready solutions.
• Self-driven with strong ownership and autonomy.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop reusable components, libraries, APIs, plugins, and tools enabling AI adoption across products and teams.
• Integrate AI capabilities into the internal development framework for easy adoption by other teams.
• Define reference architectures, standards, and best practices for Generative AI solutions.
• Design and implement integrations with Large Language Models and AI services, focusing on AWS ecosystem.
• Develop production-ready solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, serverless architectures, and Serverless Framework.
• Explore AI capabilities such as structured generation, tool calling, agents, RAG, MCP, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Define testing and evaluation mechanisms for quality, security, latency, reliability, and cost.
• Implement observability for model usage, prompts, tokens, responses, errors, and timings.
• Establish controls to protect sensitive information and promote secure AI usage.
• Build PoCs and evolve successful approaches into scalable production-ready solutions.
• Create technical docs, examples, and adoption guidelines for teams.
• Support teams in adopting reusable AI components and best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to decision-making.
