EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a world-class team shaping AI-driven insurance technology platforms. You will design and deploy enterprise AI solutions, partner with brokers and underwriters, and drive the lifecycle of AI products from concept to production.

The role emphasizes strong Python/TypeScript skills, real-world ML/LLM experience, and ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders in English.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in Software Engineering/AI/ML.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills.
• Experience shipping AI-driven products to live deployment.
• Experience applying ML models and LLMs in real-world settings.
• Exposure to CI/CD and containerized environments.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent English communication (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Identify AI value areas across Insurance Broking workflows.
• Build and roll out enterprise AI platforms for insurance operations.
• Develop AI tools using LLMs, RAG, and document handling.
• Collaborate with brokers, underwriters, and ops teams to scale solutions.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of AI products from concept to launch and refinement.
• Design evaluation mechanisms: tests, monitoring, and hallucination detection.
• Drive rapid experimentation and adopt modern AI engineering practices.
• Improve performance and efficiency through intelligent automation.
• Provide guidance to engineers on trustworthy AI delivery.
• Explore latest AI innovations for insurance-specific problems.
