EPAM Systems is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design, build, and scale cutting-edge AI applications powered by large language models. Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored LLM-driven solutions, architect agentic systems, and drive adoption of emerging AI technologies across enterprise environments.

The role focuses on end-to-end AI application development, data pipelines, prompt strategies, and robust system integration.

Formación

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language; experience with web frameworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI application development lifecycle, including production deployment and system integration.
• Familiarity with major LLM platforms and related frameworks.
• Experience deploying AI solutions at scale with focus on performance and security.
• Experience with enterprise system integration (CRM, ERP) and data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain end-to-end AI applications (chatbots, Q&A, agent workflows).
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and propose tailored AI/LLM solutions.
• Architect and optimize data pipelines, prompts, and datasets for scalable models.
• Monitor AI system performance, ensure accuracy, security and compliance.
• Conduct experiments and rapid prototyping to validate feasibility and value.
• Stay current with evolving LLM technologies and methodologies.
• Design agentic systems with frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel.
• Develop APIs and system integrations for production-grade AI apps.
• Deploy AI solutions at scale with attention to performance and observability.
• Implement retrieval and ranking systems (keyword search, embeddings).
• Apply MLOps/AIOps practices for agentic systems.
