AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build agentic workflows and AI-powered products for enterprise customers in higher education. You will lead development of agent orchestration patterns and ensure robust, scalable architectures.

Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, integrating agents into full development lifecycles, and establishing standards for observability, security, and governance. Remote-friendly hybrid work option is available.

Qualifikationen

• We require 5+ years in a software product development setting with ownership over complex systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot is essential for building scalable backend services.
• Experience designing AI agents, tool-using LLM apps, and orchestrated workflows.
• Strong track record with enterprise SaaS or multi-tenant architectures.
• Deep knowledge of testing, observability, security, and fault tolerance.

Aufgaben

• Design and build agentic workflows coordinating tools, services, data, and approvals.
• Develop reusable patterns for agent orchestration, tool use, context, memory, and collaboration.
• Apply agentic coding tools across planning, implementation, testing, and review.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, and operations workflows.
• Set standards for evaluation, observability, reliability, security, and governance.
• Prototype new agentic capabilities and scale successful experiments to production.
• Deliver complete products, not just demos of model integrations.
• Mentor engineers and guide agentic-first technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product leaders to connect agentic capabilities to outcomes.
• Review and secure agent-generated code and ensure verification before use.
