Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and build agentic workflows and AI-powered products for enterprise customers in higher education. You will drive end-to-end development across planning, coding, testing, and deployment, with a strong focus on reliability and security.

You will mentor engineers, establish standards for governance, and partner with product and engineering leadership to deliver production-grade solutions that scale across multi-tenant environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software product development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on AI agents / LLM orchestration experience.
• Experience with AWS, RESTful APIs, and TypeScript/Python.
• Senior-level in production software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design agentic workflows coordinating tools, data, and approvals.
• Build reusable patterns for agent orchestration and memory.
• Use AI coding agents across planning, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate agents into development, testing, deployment, and operations.
• Establish standards for observability, security, and governance.
• Mentor engineers and shape an agentic-first strategy.
