Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, seeks a Data Engineer to design, deploy and maintain automated data pipelines that handle diverse data types using Azure and big data tools. You will join a large IT organization delivering services globally.

The role requires strong software engineering practices, 5+ years in data engineering, and experience with cloud-based data architectures, ETL/ELT, and data security. Relocation may be considered.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• +5 years as a Data Engineer with hands-on data platform work.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, big data, cloud data architectures and security.

Mansioni

• Understand business data needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Develop data ingestion, prep and analytics processing pipelines.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources for analysis.
• Enable data scientists with accessible data and models.
• Collaborate with ML Engineer to scale and deploy models.
• Contribute to internal tools and services development.
