Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires seeks a Data Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain automated data transformation pipelines across diverse storage and compute technologies. You will support data architecture and analytics initiatives across the organization globally.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, preparation, cleansing, and delivering data products; enabling data scientists with accessible data; and collaborating with ML engineers to scale and deploy

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data acquisition, preparation, validation, and transformation; analytics solution architecture and big data computing.

• Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support processes and objectives.
• Leverage data engineering and data science techniques to create business value through data accessibility and analytics processing.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse, and prepare data; develop data products aligned with architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists by making data available for analytics models and collaborating with ML engineers.
• Work with ML Engineer to scale and deploy models and document processes.
• Contribute to internal tooling and deployment of technical services.
