Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software engineering, strong Java, Python, and experience with AI-enabled features. This full-time, remote LATAM role offers ownership, impact, and growth within a fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/backend engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Python experience building production systems.
• Strong Java expertise.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based app development in production.
• Experience with distributed systems and async processing.
• Experience with databases, message queues, and data pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Startup/fast-paced environment with ownership.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems with reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate business needs.
