You will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python, and work on distributed systems with data processing pipelines. Strong ownership mindset and experience with AI-assisted development are highly valued.

This is a 100% remote role for LATAM engineers. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering, 5+ years in Python, and solid Java

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/ backend experience.
• 5+ years of Python production backend experience.
• Strong Java experience.
• Hands-on AI/LLM-based development in production.
• Distributed systems, scalable architectures, asynchronous processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems with databases, APIs, queues, and data pipelines.
• Own features/services from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems focusing on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to translate requirements into solutions.
• Improve system performance and operational efficiency.
