Opella is seeking a Regional Sales Lead for Chile, Uruguay & Paraguay to drive net sales, market share and profitability across three fast-moving markets. You will lead and develop sales teams, partner with cross-functional teams and manage forecasting and performance reviews to deliver disciplined growth.

You will translate regional priorities into country-level execution, strengthen customer partnerships and steer commercial governance to mitigate risks.

Competenze

• Progressive experience in Sales, KAM or Commercial Leadership.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, OTC or related consumer-driven industries is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial and strategic business acumen with advanced negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable commercial plans and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and people management skills are preferred.

About the job:

Lead and accelerate commercial performance across Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay, translating regional business priorities into effective country-level sales strategies and execution. Drive sustainable growth, market share expansion and profitability through strong customer partnerships, commercial excellence and disciplined execution, while developing a high-performing and collaborative sales organization across the three markets.

Main responsibilities:

• Define and execute the sales strategy across Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay, aligned with regional priorities, and own delivery of net sales, market share and profitability targets.
• Lead commercial execution across key channels, strengthening strategic customer partnerships, negotiations, joint business plans and commercial agreements.
• Drive revenue growth through pricing execution, customer and channel mix, trade investment effectiveness, distribution, availability and in-store execution.
• Partner with the Country Head and cross-functional teams including Revenue Growth Management, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and People & Culture to shape priorities and maximize performance.
• Establish robust sales forecasting, performance tracking and business review routines, using market insights and commercial analytics to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead, coach and develop sales teams and/or local commercial partners across the three markets, fostering accountability, collaboration and a high-performance culture.
• Ensure disciplined commercial governance, budget management, policy and regulatory compliance, while anticipating commercial risks and defining mitigation actions.

About you:

• Progressive experience in Sales, Key Account Management or Commercial Leadership, with proven responsibility for commercial performance, strategic customers and sales operations.
• Experience in FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, OTC or related consumer-driven industries; exposure to multiple markets, regional operations or distributor-led models is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial and strategic business acumen, with advanced negotiation capabilities, analytical thinking and financial understanding.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable commercial plans and influence cross-functional stakeholders in complex environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, ownership and decision-making capabilities; previous people management experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field; MBA or postgraduate studies in Business Management are a plus.
• Spanish required; advanced English proficiency is desirable.
