Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead Agile Release Trains and enable teams to deliver business value predictably at scale. You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, QA, and stakeholders to drive program execution and SAFe practices across multiple teams.

This hybrid role is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with two days per week in the office. Requirements include 8+ years in Agile delivery, 3+ years as RTE/SAFe coach, and SAFe RTE certification; fluent

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in CS/Engineering or related field.
8+ years in Agile delivery or program management.
3+ years as RTE/SAFe Coach.
SAFe RTE certification.
Experience with Jira/Jira Align/Azure DevOps.
Strong facilitation and communication skills.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and dependencies across complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Facilitate PI Planning and SAFe ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, PO Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
Drive alignment across multiple Agile teams by managing dependencies, risks, and impediments.
Track and communicate progress against PI objectives, delivery commitments, and program metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, team members, and leaders on SAFe and Lean-Agile principles.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into program outcomes.
Promote continuous improvement, transparency, collaboration, and accountability across Agile Release Trains.
Support release readiness activities while ensuring alignment across business and technology teams.
