FieldCore is hiring a Steam/Gas Mechanic to safely install, maintain and repair heavy rotating machinery used in power generation. You will collaborate with Supervisors and EHS personnel to meet objectives and support FieldCore’s service delivery model.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and preferably a technical degree in the field. Expect field assignments with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience maintaining, dismantling and installing machinery and industrial service equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Degree/Associate Degree in Technical Field or Gas Turbine Systems.

Responsabilités

• Dismantle, assemble, move and align machinery using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and alignment equipment.
• Read blueprints and technical docs to determine work procedures.
• Handle shipping/receiving and manage tools, equipment and supplies for field projects.
• Inspect materials and equipment with precision measuring tools.
• Perform machining and welding for lab and shop training parts.
• Load, transport and unload materials and perform maintenance as needed.
• Install machinery per layout plans and drawings; work overtime as required.
