Job summary

GE Vernova's FieldCore division seeks an entry level Field Engineer Program (FEP) participant. You will train in-person and online, learn lean methods, and rotate through field assignments on power generation equipment.

During the program you’ll gain expertise and leadership skills, travel to customer sites, and after graduation be eligible for a TFA role, contributing to safe installations and reliable power delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical or university degree or qualifying experience.
• 4+ years field services experience if no university degree.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical diagrams.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Manage, perform and coordinate on-site activities.
• Install systems and equipment; perform preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Respond to emergency repairs and service requests at customer sites.
• Provide technical instruction to customer personnel on installation and operation.
• Prepare technical reports, quotes, and job status updates for customers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with GE policies.
• Coach and train other team members as needed.
• Coordinate parts shipments and site logistics.
• Support field engineering initiatives and upgrades.
