Job summary

Ecolab, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join its transportation department.

You will be an analytical problem-solver, accountable for supporting processes with data collection and analysis skills, identifying opportunities to improve quality, service and savings metrics. In this role you will develop relationships with vendors, manage inventories, forecasts, and delivery execution while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Previous work experience in logistics, transportation, operations or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Access.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Foster clear communication with your team and internal contacts to address service related interests.
• Develop relationships with key vendors concerning contract terms, payments and service while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert and perform various logistics activities such as account management, database maintenance, replenishment and inventory forecasting, shortage resolution, distribution planning, delivery execution and exception management.
• Manage quality, service and cost metrics; regularly analyze and report on data while developing and implementing plans to achieve improvements.
