Hire Hangar is seeking a Junior Video Editor to craft engaging YouTube videos and podcast content for a global audience. This remote role requires familiarity with YouTube storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, plus comfort using AI-powered tools to speed up edits.

You will edit long-form videos and create short-form clips, work with producers, and ensure outputs meet brand guidelines and platform best practices.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on experience editing YouTube videos or video podcasts.
• Experience using AI tools in video editing workflows (auto-captioning, noise reduction, clip generation).
• Proficiency with at least one professional editing platform (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of YouTube/podcast styles, pacing, and viewer engagement.
• Experience working remotely with US/UK-based teams and collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana).

Responsabilidades

• Edit long-form YouTube videos and video podcasts, including multi-camera edits where applicable.
• Create short-form clips (Shorts, Reels, TikToks) from podcast and YouTube content.
• Apply clean cuts, pacing, captions, and sound balancing for YouTube audiences.
• Use AI-powered tools to assist with editing workflows, captioning, clipping, noise reduction, and optimization.
• Collaborate with producers and creators to implement feedback and revisions.
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines, platform best practices, and publishing requirements.
• Organize project files and assets to support a smooth remote workflow.
