vidIQ is a remote-ready company that builds AI-powered tools for YouTube creators. We seek a frontend-leaning engineer who owns surfaces end to end, designs APIs, and ships across the stack with a focus on performance and reliability.

You will work with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, and Tailwind, shaping how millions of creators experience vidIQ while collaborating with an AI-native team across the stack.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend focus, comfortable on the backend, and API design skills.
• Self-driven with ownership mindset and ability to make decisions.
• Led projects from concept to completion and documented work.
• Clear communicator with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.

Responsibilities

• Own product surfaces end to end, guiding direction for vidIQ's key parts.
• Work across the stack by building backend APIs, services, and data flows.
• Drive your roadmap by turning feedback into proposals with product/design alignment.
• Build AI-powered experiences across the stack with robust UX.
• Fix architecture and performance bottlenecks anywhere in the path.
• Promote AI practices, review outputs, and mentor teammates.
• Improve durability with monitoring and post-launch oversight.
• Raise the bar through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
