vidIQ is seeking a frontend-leaning engineer who will own product surfaces end to end, from UI to APIs and data flows, in a remote role with global engagement. You’ll shape how millions of creators experience vidIQ and contribute to AI-powered enhancements across the stack.

The role emphasizes strong frontend skills (TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, Tailwind) with the ability to work across the stack and mentor others.

Formación

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong frontend skills; able to design APIs, write server-side code, work with databases, and debug across client-server boundaries.
• Self-driven; able to start with minimal specs and move work forward independently.
• Owner mindset; identifies breaks, performance issues, and confusing UX and fixes them proactively.
• Experience leading projects end-to-end, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Commitment to product quality and maintaining clean, testable code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Own product surfaces end to end; set direction, track performance, and iterate.
• Work across the stack; build/modify backend APIs, services, and data flows.
• Drive your roadmap by translating feedback into proposals and collaborating with product/design.
• Build AI-powered experiences; integrate models, prompts, and streaming UX.
• Address architecture and performance bottlenecks across frontend and backend.
• Promote responsible AI usage; share learnings and establish team practices.
• Mentor teammates; review code and provide constructive feedback to others.
