Job summary

Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine seeks a remote Staff Accountant / Tax Professional to support a U.S.-based client, with hours aligned to U.S. Eastern Time. This full-time, remote role requires 3+ years of accounting experience and knowledge of U.S.

GAAP and tax concepts. You will prepare financial statements, record adjusting entries, assist with U.S. individual and business tax returns, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally supporting U.S.-based clients.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general tax preparation concepts.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Record and review adjusting journal entries
• Support preparation of U.S. individual and business tax returns
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze financial information
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based team for review and sign-off
