Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support multi-entity recordkeeping and intercompany reconciliations across 16 clinic locations. The role focuses on month-end close, financial reporting, and driving process improvements in a US-aligned remote environment.

The ideal candidate has strong GL experience, healthcare accounting background, and proficiency with cloud accounting software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience managing multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-subsidiary accounting structures.
• Cloud accounting software experience (QBO, NetSuite, Sage Intacct) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute payroll runs and reconcile activity to accounting system.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile balance sheet liabilities.
• Assist intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support accounts payable alongside AP Lead.
• Reconcile cash receipts, deposits, revenue, and billings; investigate variances.
• Support accounts receivable and escalate to Controller as needed.
• Maintain month-end close checklists and documentation; assist audits and tax requests.
