Superprof is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely on campaigns for North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to deliver high-quality videos.

The role emphasizes platform-specific optimization for YouTube, social channels, and paid media, with a focus on storytelling, color, sound design, and motion graphics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing in agency/marketing settings.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing or corporate videos.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and color grading.
• Fluent English for US-based collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on feedback before delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
