Sophilabs is seeking a Senior QA Tester and Analyst to design and execute test plans, perform exploratory testing, and contribute to a risk-based quality assurance strategy.

You will review requirements, create detailed test cases, estimate testing effort, document defects, and collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure high-quality software delivered on time. Remote work is available.

Formación

• Must have at least 5 years of QA experience.
• Fluency in English (C1 or higher).
• Experience with risk-based testing approaches.
• Familiarity with Selenium and web technologies.
• Strong defect-tracking and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
