Sophilabs is seeking a Junior QA Tester and Analyst to design and execute test plans, perform exploratory testing, and contribute to risk-based quality assurance. This role includes reviewing requirements, creating tests, reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers and PMs in a fully remote environment.

The position requires 1+ year of QA experience, fluent English, and strong detail orientation. You will work with Selenium, HTML/CSS/JS and other tools while growing your testing expertise

Formación

• At least 1 year of relevant QA/testing experience.
• Fluent in English (C1 or higher).
• Attention to detail, customer success focus, analytical mind, problem solving, relationship building, and planning and organizing skills.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specs, and design docs to provide timely, meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, and track bugs thoroughly.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers.
• Investigate causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track QA metrics like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and strategies.
