Sophilabs is seeking a Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst to design, execute, and maintain test plans within a risk-based framework. You will work closely with our Software Engineering and Development teams to ensure quality across products.

The role requires at least 5 years of testing experience, proficiency in Selenium and web technologies, and strong English skills (C1+). Full-time with remote availability is preferred, offering opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

Responsabilidades

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Develops/writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected.
• Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling, and system workflows.
• Work with end-users to broaden their understanding of systems and their requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Creating automated test
• Collaborating with developers and project managers.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

A Typical Day

A Senior QA Automation Tester and Analyst designs and executes test plans and carries out exploratory testing and unit test development as part of a broader risk-based approach. This role will work closely with our Software Engineering and Development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining automated testing suites as part of larger build and deploy pipeline maintained on platforms such as GitlabCI
• Experience as a Software QA Engineer including experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, and other
• Familiarity with SQL database management language
• Full-time and Remote availability
