Uptalent.io is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical design for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role focuses on enclosures, platforms, and integration of batteries, inverters, and power infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have extensive SolidWorks experience (sheet metal, weldments, large assemblies) and a strong background in thermal management and structural design for electrical equipment. English communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial equipment or energy systems.
• Strong experience with SolidWorks (sheet metal, weldments, large assemblies).
• Experience with structural design and thermal management for electrical or power equipment.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design mechanical enclosures and structural platforms for battery energy storage systems.
• Develop equipment layouts and mechanical assemblies supporting service access, ventilation, and cable routing.
• Create 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks, including sheet metal and weldments.
• Perform structural and thermal analysis to support battery cooling and system safety.
• Coordinate closely with electrical and manufacturing teams to ensure proper equipment integration.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and product development phases.
