Job summary

Coderio is seeking a Senior Data Scientist Lead to design, develop, and deliver data science solutions that drive measurable business value for international clients. This role combines hands-on model development with strategic technical leadership.

You will guide data professionals, collaborate with business and engineering teams, and own full lifecycle ML initiatives from problem framing to production monitoring, primarily in AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Data Science, ML, analytics or related field with proven leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience with statistical modeling and ML algorithms.
• Advanced proficiency in Python with Pandas/NumPy/Scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Data Science Leadership: Lead design and implementation of data science initiatives, defining methodologies, approaches, and best practices across projects.
• Machine Learning & Modeling: Develop, evaluate, and optimize ML models to solve business problems and generate insights.
• End-to-End Data Science: Own data exploration, feature engineering, model development, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
• AWS & Cloud Solutions: Design and implement scalable data science and ML solutions using AWS services.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to Data Scientists and promote high-quality engineering practices.
• Business Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, and software engineers to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Model Performance & Optimization: Monitor, improve, and ensure performance aligned with business goals.
• Data Strategy: Contribute to data science strategies and best practices for growth.
• Knowledge Sharing: Mentor teammates and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.
