PwC Argentina is hiring a Senior Data Engineer focusing on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a remote LATAM engagement. You will build and maintain data pipelines, connectors, and ingestion services across cloud environments, collaborating with customers to ensure scalable, secure data flows and reliable reporting.

The role combines data engineering with customer-facing consulting, requiring strong SQL/NoSQL, Python/Go, and experience with modern ETL platforms and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong software development experience with Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipeline experience.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• CI/CD and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources (IdPs, cloud platforms, SASE, network, endpoints, apps, SIEM).
• Work with customers to understand environments and integration constraints.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud services, event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services in Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases to store and analyze data.
• Operate Docker and Kubernetes based services.
• Deploy solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Troubleshoot deployments and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Translate customer requirements into pragmatic solutions.
